V0.2 Patch Notes

Patch Notes:

• Added Lime Bullets
  • Critically blocking these will reduce bullet speed by 0.1 permanently
  • They will still damage your base if they get through however
• Added Purple Bullets
  • These bullets will curve as they approach you
• Added the options menu
  • Currently features the ability to:
    • Toggle particles
    • Toggle extra stats (speed and spawn rate)
    • Wipe your save
• Added the Glossary
  • Details what every different bullet does
• Added particles on enemy block (except yellows)
  • Particles change pattern depending on whether or not the block was critical
• Added saving and loading
  • Currently used to save your options and high scores
• Stages now have individual high scores
• Shield sprite was made slightly larger
  • Critical block section was made roughly 10% bigger
• Added Bursting
  • Blocking bullets now builds up charge
    • 2% for a regular block, 4% for a critical block
  • At 100% charge you can press left click to release an explosion around the base that instantly destroys all bullets it touches
• Bullets now get 'longer' as they get faster
  • This is to hopefully prevent bullets from moving so fast that they clip through your shield (particularly oranges)
• Blue bullets now move for 1 second and stop for half a second
• Spawn rate now decreases by 0.04 every 5 seconds instead of 0.05
• Converted Practice and Auto levels into 'modifiers'
• Added Modifiers
  • Practice makes you invincible
  • Auto makes the game play for you
  • Limit Break makes the game harder
    • All bullets get stronger in some ways e.g. red bullets now always split no matter what
    • Speed starts higher, increases quicker and has a much higher cap
    • Spawn rate decreases faster and has a lower cap
  • Shortcut doubles starting speed to get into the harder parts faster
  • Note: Practice and Auto disable high score saving
• Added tooltips for every menu icon
